Enduring Impact concert celebrates the life Darlene Dugan with a premier of a newly commissioned piece by Catherine McMichael for Darlene from her students and friends.

The memorial Concert will take place on May 5, at 5pm at Second Reformed Church in Zeeland, Michigan.  (225 E. Central Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464).

A newly commissioned work by Catherine McMichael in honor of Darlene will be performed at this concert.  We would like to invite Darlene's many friends, students, and coworkers to participate in the commissioning of this work.  This three movement flute orchestra work will reflect aspects we all know and love about Darlene, while keeping with her Irish Heritage.

If you would like to be a part of Darlene Dugan's memorial commission, please consider participating with a donation to the West Michigan Flute Association.  In the memo section please write, “Darlene Dugan Commission”.  If you prefer to send a check, contact wmfaflute@gmail.comfor instructions.

A piece for lifelong friend of Darlene and the West Michigan Flute Association, Emily Brown, will also be premiered.  This piece, by Dave Wells, celebrates the life of Emily Brown.  You can participate in this commission in the same way.

Plan to join us for this concert.  If you would like to play in this memorial concert, please contact Julie Sooy at wmfaflute@gmail.com.
